General information
The Embassy provides services for Maldivians living in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg including assistance with renewing passports and National ID Cards.
The Embassy:
- Provides information, advice and consular assistance.
- Provides certification and authentication of documents, such as birth certificates if needed for any purposes by concerned authorities in Maldives, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
- Facilitates Passport applications.
- Issues temporary travel documents to Maldivians.
- Delivers assistance to Maldivians in case of emergencies.
- Visits Maldivian citizens who have been arrested or imprisoned.
- Assists Maldivians in obtaining visas to countries that have diplomatic missions in Benelux.
