Foreign Minister arrives in Belgium on an official visit

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has arrived in Belgium on a two-day official visit.
During the visit, Minister Shahid will meet with key officials from European Parliament, European Commission and European External Action Service. Discussions will be focused primarily on strengthening cooperation on climate change, counter-terrorism, democracy consolidation, governance and institutional reforms.
Minister Shahid is accompanied by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, Ambassador of Maldives to Sri Lanka His Excellency Omar Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Shiuneen Rasheed and Desk Officer Ms. Mariyam Asif.
