On 5 July 2022, Ambassador- Designate of Maldives to the Kingdom of Belgium, His Excellency Omar Abdul Razzak , presented a copy of his Letter of Credence to Head of Protocol Department of the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium, H.E. Mr Olivier Belle.

Ambassador Designate affirmed keenness of the Republic of Maldives to further enhance relations between the two countries in all fields.
