Visa Exemption for Maldivians travelling to Cambodia
04 May 2023
Maldivian nationals travelling to Cambodia will be exempted from visa effective today, 4 May 2023. The visa exemption will allow Maldivians holding valid Diplomatic, Official and Ordinary passports to enter and stay in Cambodia a maximum period of thirty (30) days from the day of their entry.
In accordance with the visa exemption agreement signed between the two countries on 16 January 2023, Maldivians intending to stay for a longer period or to work or to attend an educational institution or conduct business in Cambodia, will need to obtain an appropriate visa prior to travel.
The Government of Maldives views the visa exemption to Cambodia as a commitment to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries and an important milestone that will facilitate stronger people to people contact, business and investment opportunities for both the Maldives and Cambodia.
