Maldives and Honduras sign a Visa Waiver Agreement

The Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Republic of Honduras signed the Agreement on Mutual Exemption of Visa Requirements, today. The Agreement allows for the exemption of visas for single or multiple entry for both countries' nationals, for a period of 30 days.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Maldives by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Khaleel, and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Honduras by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Eduardo Enrique Reina García.

During the discussions following the signing ceremony, State Minister Khaleel expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Honduras for its commitment towards enhancing the cooperation between the two countries and expressed hope that the signing of this agreement will enable greater people-to-people contact and further the engagements.
