Ambassador of India to the Maldives pays a farewell call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Ambassador of India to the Maldives His Excellency Akhilesh Mishra paid a farewell call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Abdulla Shahid today, at the Ministry.
In the meeting, Foreign Minister Shahid thanked the Ambassador and the Government of India for the continued support and cooperation in strengthening the political, social, economic and defense sectors of the Maldives. The Foreign Minister also noted the Ambassador’s key role in revitalizing the relationship between the two countries and thanked the Ambassador for his part in further enhancing the traditional relationship between the two countries. The Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador all the best in his future endeavors.
During the farewell call, the Minister was accompanied by Foreign Secretary His Excellency Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed and Director, India Division Ms Mariyam Midhfa Naeem.
