Ambassador of Maldives to the Kingdom of Netherlands, Hassan Sobir presents his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander

The newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Netherlands, Hassan Sobir presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander, at a ceremony held in the Noordeinde Palace.
During the meeting that ensued, King Willem-Alexander welcomed Ambassador Sobir and congratulated him on his appointment. He further reiterated the commitment to strengthen the relations between the Maldives and Netherlands and expressed his confidence, that the relations will reach new heights during the tenure of Ambassador Sobir.
Ambassador Sobir conveyed warm greetings and good wishes from the people and the President of the Republic of Maldives His Excellency Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and assured his commitment to work diligently to further strengthen the existing long-standing friendly ties between the Maldives and the Kingdom of Netherlands.Ambassador Sobir was accompanied by Samahath Zuhuree, Counsellor, at the Embassy of Maldives in Belgium.
